Hello!

I'm a versatile cellist, relating to the classical repertoire as well as the contemporary, and free improvisation. I've played in weddings and funerals, at the opening of an art exhibition, background music at an association's anniversary, at the opening of a new season at a public library, and instructed improvisation with kids and adults. I have given solo recitals of classical music, improvised at a festival with a balloon player, improvised as the only soundtrack to theater performances, and played pub gigs with a band in Manchester.

I currently reside in Stockholm. This winter of 2024 I’m busy with concerts with JaMaRam, teaching, group classes, and project-based gigs.

To be well prepared for rehearsal of this piece, I'm singing the melodic lines while playing my part. It's very effective! Much easier to play together with the melodic lines, rather than to rely on us all having a common inner beat... This is for a string sextet project in Norway this summer, the newly established Hadeland Strykeensemble! To fill an hour of music we've made arrangements for string sextet.
